How to stop employees from using ChatGPT at work
Decide which AI tools are allowed. If ChatGPT is not one of them, turn it off.
People are already using ChatGPT on work computers. Customer names, files, and unfinished ideas go in with the question.
Blocking that one website works for about a week. After that, they find another tool, or they use a phone.
Start with what is already open. You pick the tools that are allowed, one or several. We turn the others off, including ChatGPT if you say no. Leave the allowed ones in place so people are not pushed to hide the work.
